Dear Superflipy, Thx for your message. The 3126 caliber is maybe a modular one. But the AP documentation mentions a caliber entirely conceived, developped and manufactured by Audemars Piguet... it does not sound like a modular caliber! Anyway, the point is: why does AP equip this new RO Offshore with an "old" caliber (the 2326) when a new one (the 3126, supposed to be better) is available - be it a modular one or not?

Quite unfortunate comment regarding the movement. Audemars Piguet uses more and more its 3120 movement on Offshore models, always with a module from Dubois-Dépraz. So it is also a "modular caliber". Also your comment regarding push buttons of the chronograph is not correct, as it is the same on all Offshore, whether with 3126 or 2326 . And I personally prefer the 2326 from Jaeger to the 3126 from AP, as this movement is thinner and allows the presence of the anti-magnetic plate that is absent of the Offshore with the thicker 3126 AP's movement. Furthermore, the rubber Offshore are still equipped with the 2326 caliber as of today. Eventually, the 3126 is deriving from the 3120 movement which is giving quite some problems to AP, as amplitude is difficult to maintain and the date is not changing always as it should. Problems that do not exist with the 2326. Could you revise your rating, please?

This AP is... gorgeous! Don't usually like pink gold. But this perpetual calendar is driving me crazy...
